Requirements

Education

• Masters with Honors in Accounting or Finance.

• An MBA in Finance, or being a Chartered Accountant (CA/CC) with partial qualification, or being partly qualified with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) will be considered as additional qualifications.

Experience

• 8 to 10 years

• Applicants should have experience in the following business areas: Investment/Merchant Banking

Additional Requirements

• Age: 35 to 42 years

• Minimum of 8-10 years of working experience in accounting.

• Should be capable of accomplishing all tasks of the Audit and Accounts Department.

• Proficient in IT skills including MS Word, Excel, accounting software, PowerPoint, etc.

• Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.

• Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities & Context

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI), the apex trade organization of the country, is inviting applications for the position of Head of Audit and Accounts.

Major responsibilities of the position:

• Develop, generate, and manage timely accounting reports.

• Oversee accounting functions, including maintaining the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Ensure reconciliation of bank accounts and other accounts.

• Supervise the monthly salary and wages statement.

• Prepare financial statements using accounting software.

• Handle other accounts and finance-related activities.
